The B.O.B

Price:

General Admission: $20

Content Guidance Rating:

Do you like your comedy inoffensive, free of swear words and safe with no opinions? Maybe something you could take your grandmother to? Well, this isn’t the show for you! We plan on bringing you some hilarious jokes with a side of filth. It will be raucous, over the top, offensive and mind blowing! When it is all over your sides will be hurting from laughing and you will walk away with a whole new set of words you can’t use at church!

Adam Degi

Adam is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after two-time cancer-surviving, bald, white comedians with a Hungarian last name in the world. You can add fatherhood, well-crafted jokes, and improvisation to his repertoire. He’s been a guest on most of the comedy-based podcasts you’ve never heard of, and he has a real knack for making your dad laugh. By the time you read this, he’ll have a few more followers on TikTok and a few less on Instagram. The only thing that can stop him is getting cancer a third time. What if I told you it happened…AGAIN. He’s on his way to another victory, the only way he knows how: saying things he shouldn’t in front of strangers

Christa Wright

Armed with a little bit of silly and a whole lot of sass, Christa Wright brings laughs to every stage. Originally from out in the sticks, the former theater kid brings those two drastically different worlds together to craft a comedic cocktail for the ages. Whether discussing dating, the terrible twenties, or just general goofiness, Christa has audiences fall for every apparent charm. She is currently a cast member of the YouTube channel LaughLab TV and performs standup comedy state-wide.

Darius Walker

Style and substance, Darius Walker’s brand of stand-up comedy takes a classic approach to set up and punchline, but the punch is all knockout. The Grand Rapids native has shown his joke finesse all throughout the state of Michigan including performances at Dr. Grins Comedy Club, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, and has appeared on Gilda’s LaughFest Comedy Festival. Has opened up for Shane Torres, Bill Boronkay, and many more.

Jason Gilleran

Jason Gilleran has been part of Detroit’s thriving comedy scene since 2017. Along with his stand up comedienne wife Robyn, they are Hard G Comedy, and run multiple shows in metro Detroit and the Thumb. He has opened for national headliners John Heffron, Rocky LaPorte, Brian Scolaro, Jay Jurden, Gianmarco Soresi, and has been in the Traverse City Comedy Festival 2023 and 2024. This year he is featuring at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. He calls comedy his “hobsession” but his day job as a Urologist means he’s seen a lot of things he can’t unsee. Look for his comedy page on Facebook (Hard G Comedy), Twitter (@gilleran_man72) Instagram (@hardgcomedy) and show updates on hardgcomedy.com.

Johnny Mocny

Johnny Mocny is a Michigan comic who’s been on the scene since the ripe age of eighteen. For eight years, he’s been honing an interesting and original act combining wry wit with shrewd, satirical edge and a comfortably innocuous demeanor. Johnny has opened for Tom Green, Beth Stelling, Joe Machi, Mike Cannon, Mike Recine, Sam Tallent, and Matthew Broussard among others, and he was the 2023 winner of the Comedy Rumble at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. You can listen to him every week on the podcasts We Are Movies and Chinese Rocket Force.

Robyn Gilleran

Robyn Gilleran is a comedian based in Detroit and is the better (looking) half of Hard G Comedy with her husband Jason. This former fat kid and current actor/model is the mother of teenage boys and has a lot to say about growing up, motherhood and life in general. Robyn has performed on stages across the US including Zanies Chicago, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, One Night Stan’s Comedy Club, The Detroit House of Comedy, Traverse City Comedy Club and Funny Farm, as well as Gildas Laughfest, The Traverse City Comedy Fest and the Detroit Women in Comedy Festival. She’s sure to catch you off guard and teach you to never judge a book by her cover.

Timothy Locke

Learning how to get laughs at an early age as a preschool class clown, Tim certainly knows a thing or two about making people laugh. His hilarious takes on fatherhood and life in general have been a hit with audiences all over the country and even internationally. His debut album “Shopping For Squirrels” reached #7 on iTunes comedy chart. In the past he has had the pleasure of working with comedians like Matt Rife, Tom Green and Donnell Rawlings a.k.a Ashy Larry from the Chappelle show.
